1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Chef Baldo website and the booking of our catering services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

2. Services

Chef Baldo provides private chef services, catering, and cooking masterclasses as described on our website. All services are subject to availability and agreement of a formal booking contract. Menu descriptions are indicative and may vary based on seasonal ingredient availability.

3. Bookings and Payments

3.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when a 50% deposit has been received and a written confirmation has been issued by Chef Baldo.

3.2 Payment Schedule

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your event date.
• The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer or major credit cards.

3.3 Menu Changes

Final menus must be confirmed at least 14 days before the event. Changes after this date may incur additional charges.

4. Cancellation Policy

• More than 30 days before the event: Full refund of deposit minus a 5% administrative fee.
• 14–30 days before the event: 50% of the deposit is refundable.
• Less than 14 days before the event: Deposit is non-refundable.
• Cancellation on the day of the event: Full balance remains due.

Chef Baldo reserves the right to cancel any booking due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund of all amounts paid will be issued.

5. Dietary Requirements and Allergies

It is your responsibility to inform us of all dietary requirements, allergies, and intolerances during the consultation process. Chef Baldo will take reasonable steps to accommodate these needs but cannot guarantee the absence of allergens in external ingredients or kitchen environments.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information regarding guest count, dietary needs, and event logistics.
• Ensure reasonable access to a clean kitchen with appropriate work surfaces and running water.
• Provide adequate parking or unloading access for equipment transport.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of guests during any interactive masterclass sessions.

7. Liability

Chef Baldo holds public liability insurance. Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the event. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. We are not responsible for injuries occurring during masterclass sessions where participants fail to follow safety instructions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and recipes — is the property of Chef Baldo unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

9. Website Use

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site. We reserve the right to restrict access to any part of the site at our discretion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
